Kaafir marks Dia Mirza's debut in the digital space. Also starring Mohit Raina, the web series premieres on June 15 on ZEE5. Set amid the sprawling border of our country, begins the journey of a young Pakistani mother who comes into India under a strange series of circumstances and is unable to go back home.

The show revolves around the relationship between this woman, who is accused of militancy, and her lawyer who makes her justice his sole objective.

Meanwhile on the work front, Bhumi Pednekar will next be seen in Saand Ki Aankh, which is an upcoming biopic drama film directed by Tushar Hiranandani and produced by Anurag Kashyap, Reliance Entertainment and Nidhi Parmar. The film also features Tapsee Pannu and Prakash Jha as main characters.
