As promised the first official trailer of Raatchasi starring Jyotika in the lead role is out and this one chronicles the fight of a responsible teacher against her co-workers, system and entire educational mafia.

Directed by Gowtham Raj, the movie has Jyotika playing the role of a teacher, Geetha Rani, who is on a mission to revamp the government school she is working for. She is struggling with the system and lazy co-workers yet determined.


She is seen posing certain difficult questions to both her students and colleagues which rattles the higher-ups in the school management. While Jyotika talks about setting aside 50% of the seats for the poor in private schools, the school management is set on throwing her off from the job by hook or crook.


Produced by SR Prabhu under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures, the project will also mark the directorial debut of Gowtham Raj. The film will be hitting the theatres in June.
