Debutante actor Meezaan Jaaferi is all set to foray into the
world of cinema with Malaal, says he is overwhelmed with the response “Aila Re”
song is getting.

Makers recently unveiled the first song Aila Re from Malaal,
which marks the debut of Meezaan Jaaferi and Sharmin Segal.
Meezaan just took to his social media profile and shared a
heartfelt post. He wrote, “Overwhelmed by the response...Thank you for all the
love and support guys. But there are two people who I really want to thank for
the first song of my career and a song I will always cherish. Words can’t
describe how grateful I am to Sanjay sir for making this song and going out of
his way to put in his bit of choreography and genius ideas to Aila Re”
Further adding Meezaan expressed his gratitude towards dance
master Ganesh Acharya. He wrote, “And to get the opportunity to work with
@ganeshacharyaa!! What more could I ask for. Thank you masterji for believing
in me and putting in that extra effort to get that level of performance out of
me which even I didn’t think I was capable of doing. I love you both and I have
much more to learn from you two. To many more songs in the future!!” “

Directed by
Mangesh Hadawle, the film also marks the debut of Sharmin Segal, niece of
filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The movie is the story of Shiva and Astha, two
very different people from contrasting backgrounds who experience the innocence
of love.
The film is
produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain, and Krishan
Kumar. The film will release nationwide on 5th July 2019.
